On the evening of March 2, Yixian e-commerce, the parent company of perfect diary, announced that it would acquire Eve LOM, a high-end skin care brand. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the next few weeks. The seller of the deal is manzanita capital, a London private equity fund, which will continue to retain a minority stake in the business.
Eve LOM was founded in London in 1985 by the star beautician of the same name. Cleansing cream is its iconic product, and the brand is well-known in the domestic beauty circle.
Huang Jinfeng, the founder and chairman of CEO, said that even during COVID-19, the Eve Lom brand also showed strong sales growth and profitability. They had experienced international fashion and beauty industry experience. Andras szirtes, managing director of manzanita, said that manzanita believed that Yixian e-commerce would promote the development of Eve LOM brand to a new level.
Yixian e-commerce was founded in 2016, and perfect diary is its first beauty brand. In early 2020, Yixian e-commerce acquired xiaoaoting, a cosmetics brand, and officially announced the launch of wanzixinxuan, a skin care brand, in June 2020. On October 30, 2020, Yixian e-commerce reached an agreement with Pierre Fabre, a French dermatology and care group, to acquire its high-end beauty brand gal é NIC.
On November 19, 2020, Yixian e-commerce was listed on the New York Stock Exchange, becoming the first beauty group listed on the US stock market in China. At that time, Yixian e-commerce revealed that it would acquire more brands in the future and enter the skin care market with high-end routes.
